Corporate quality policy

POLIS aims to steadily expand its operations in the global market, focusing on customer satisfaction and striving to exceed customers’ expectations.

POLIS promotes all measures designed to ensure that its products and processes do not pose any significant risks to the health and safety of its workforce or to the environment; it is committed to pursuing a policy of continuous improvement in its performance, ensuring safe and healthy working conditions, and preventing work-related accidents and illnesses.

To this end, POLIS srl undertakes to:

  • identify the hazards arising from the activities carried out, eliminate them and, where this is not possible, minimise the risks to personnel and the environment
  • conduct its business in accordance with the principles of legality, honesty and transparency, and to commit to combating all forms of corruption and/or extortion that are contrary to its ethical principles
  • implement methodologies, measures and adjustments aimed at preventing accidents and occupational illnesses by implementing and updating an integrated management system for the ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 standards, which enables the definition of objectives and plans to achieve them, through an appropriate system of process indicators and the implementation of continuous improvement programmes
  • encourage consultation and participation by internal staff and all stakeholders
  • protect natural resources by avoiding waste and monitoring the sustainability of processes
  • identify the environmental aspects of its activities, products and services and their environmental impacts, taking a life-cycle perspective
  • enhance training, information and instruction activities, involving all staff and making them aware of the importance of their every action in achieving ongoing customer satisfaction, as well as their responsibilities regarding safety and the environment
  • maintain up-to-date monitoring procedures to ensure the ongoing monitoring of staff health and safety and significant environmental aspects, whilst anticipating potential impacts and planning actions to deal with any emergencies
  • develop innovative products, programmes and objectives, by providing a sufficient number of well-trained staff who are directly responsible for their own processes, as well as adequate financial resources
  • safeguard workers’ dignity and rights, in accordance with the principles of equality and transparency 
  • comply with the applicable legal requirements and other requirements of the management system
  • involve workers, both directly and through their Health and Safety Representatives, in the application of the fundamental principles of prevention and protection, so that they are made aware of their role in managing their own health and safety and that of others in the workplace
  • review the effectiveness of business processes on an annual basis, taking into account the associated risks and opportunities, the status of implementation of the Integrated QAS Management System, and the objectives and programmes for continuous improavement.

The General Management of POLIS is committed to implementing and upholding this Policy, to communicating it to all those who work for or on behalf of the company, to making it available to the public and stakeholders, and to periodically reviewing its level of understanding, implementation and suitability using the tools provided by its Management Systems.
